Title: Clan support is coming with SC2 HoTS

As it's a battle.net feature, hopefully it will be available in Diablo 3. We just need to wait till August and hope for the best guys :)

Promising news, if they add clan support to SC2, it'll be easier to make similar system in D3. They completely ruined any chance to show our membership to clan in D3 - we can't use any special char to separate tag from charname, and 12 char limit isn't a step "forward" too. But I think PVP patch is more important.

it's a b.net 2.0 feature, so in theory, it doesn't matter what game you're currently playing on battle.net, it should be available

Great, some friends from d2 who don't follow the updates around d3 or didn't play the beta were shocked that charnames had been dissapeared! Let's hope it will come  ;)

august ? hots wont be released before 2013 but i hope will implement it into d3 before this date. im playing sc2 and its rly missing (and is pretty ridiculous, it existed in wc3)

i havent read any info on d3 yet, so i will start on it completely blanco. But you're saying that there are no charnames available in d3??? :(

there are but they arent uniques, and arent shown ingame (your battletag is)
