Hi guys,

A co-worker told me there is going to be a starter edition that let's people play until lvl 13. Can you confirm me if this is true and if this characters can be re-used until pre-orders arrive?

thats true. its called guest pass but i dont know the answer for your 2nd question

According to one of the blue posts, you will be able to play up to the Skeleton King and reach level 13.
As for the time limit, I believe it's 7 hours. Once you obtain the final version, the progress made during your Guest Pass time will be saved and continued.
The thing is, only boxes (either standard or CE) contain Guest Passes, so you have to find someone willing to share it with you anyway.

I might have some guest passes, but can't confirm that atm (depends if I'll get physical box today), so I could share some guest keys here

If you can wait, you can download the starter edition on Blizzards HP one month after release without any code.
