Agree with most points. Having an extended (and why not bnet 1.0 style) chat possibility gives alot of depth to the social aspect of the game. Even the people who don't want to make use of this chat option were served by bnet 1.0 - the lobby. Another argument is the option to check someone's profile and to show off that lvl 99 character with a vampire gaze or a big !@# executioner sword. People are social animals and like to talk about whatever. This feature hasn't been exploited at all with D3 - now with patch 1.08 we get thrown a bone but yet it's nowhere near how it should be - don't invent things you already own.I don't see why bnet 2.0 doesn't have these features; bnet 0.1 is a better name for the current version.
In the end what makes a game a succes is for the majority sharing it with likeminded people. We, the community, has been giving you almost a year time now since the release to come up with a desirable solution. If I speak for myself: I am of a tolerant nature and willing to wait but combined with the duelling it's starting to become very stretched.
This might sounds negative and it partly is but it also offers several suggestions on how to improve the current situation to a situation which better suits the players and the company interests. I am always willing to give some thoughts or even help out with ideas - I have had my share in maintaining several communities dedicated to duelling in both d2 as d3 so there should be experience enough to atleast give you valuable advice.
