15% fee in RMAH
« on: April 13, 2012, 13:53:22 pm »

"As of Patch 16, it appears that Blizzard have removed the $1.25 flat listing fee for selling equipment, and put all items under the 15% transaction fee!"

http://diablo3markets.incgamers.com/blog/comments/official-site-updated-items-crafting-costs-changed

Dont you think that 15% is way too much?

it seems to be an incorrect message.

Just read this on incgamers:
Quote
Correction: RMAH Pay Structure Not Changed

Posted: 13 Apr 2012 10:41 AM PDT

Based on Azzure’s previous post regarding the removal of the flat transaction fee, we were to understand that the rate had been replaced with a 15% fee. This has been corrected, however, as Kaivax from Blizzard explains that this was merely a configuration error.

@KaivaxBlizzard: There was an error with one of the listing fees in the #Diablo III Beta auction house. It has been corrected.

We are aware that, in the Diablo III beta, a 15% transaction was previously displayed when selling items in the Beta Bucks auction house. This was a configuration error, and has been corrected.

We do not currently have plans to alter the auction house fee structure for the beta, as previously discussed here: http://us.battle.net/d3/en/forum/topic/4062879314

As always, thank you for your feedback. This is exactly the sort of thing that makes a good beta test.

I would have been very surprised if they had removed the flat fee for posting items simply because it would open the service up to an enormous amount of flooding unless they introduced a very modest number of daily postings.

I won't be needing rmah anyway. Maybe one day to cash out just like d2.

The 15% is to much i believe and it will be undershot by 3rd parties. That is if those 3rd parties can get the amount of trust needed for this. And if blizzard let them ofcourse..

And if Jor's posting is correct it was never intended to be 15%.
