I think that there is no turning back, most of us got bored some time ago, some of us years ago ;p 12 years since d2 realease is simply to long, id rather saythat if diablo 3 wont be that exciting, we will come back to wow or wait for gw2 or lineage eternal or w/e
But im optimist, im sure that d3 will keep most of us excited for years.

Since the beta launch I have more than 300 hours played... For me the Diablo III beta is much more entertaining game than any other AAA title and even than Diablo II.

Well... it's not that much. I have beta since 27th October 2011. It's only 20 hours per beta patch approx.

Folks, don't you think that after a few weeks of playing d3, the most of us will return to d2 ?

I dont think so. D2 is so much exhausted. There no option to support any league or sth for this game anymore because of expected lack of players. we've done so many "magical" things such us 16 players in game, anticheat, additional command, transfering ar gold in game to server database any much more... but this is not interesting anymore Similar situation was when D2 came. A lot of players declared return to D1 but most of them stayed with D2. I think now would be the same.

Not quests, just some changes.

There were character wipes and some moderate changes. If you wanna level up all characters and let's say "try out some new things" that's the 20 hours + you get bored during school lectures and you have university wi-fi connection there...

Good morning all, unsure if anyone will remember me but use to take part in a lot of the old tournaments etc in euro-pvp playing an assassin called uN_Dave, I also supplied a levelling service for a while with pat however I'm not sure if it's the same pat posting here!

Anyway, been searching for a while to see if a similar community would be starting up for d3 and finally found it. I recognise the majority of the names who have posted which is great.
