Definitely it's "a bit" different but better in terms of survivability/AoE damage.

For me the DH is the least compelling. That may be because I'm conservative.
And in that light it's not really suprising that I'll play Barbarian.

Hi there,
long time no see. So after playing the beta since september last year im confused at all. The balancing has changed the character models so often, that i cant decide wich character to play in the end.
Well for the start it will be definatly monk or witchdoctor. The reason is quite simple, survivability. Later on i think the monk-barb comp will be extremly powerfull. Shouts, Mantras and Healing will outperform overtime everything in my eyes. So it looks like ill go this way.

Anyway i wish you all alot of fun and hope to see you ingame

But what do they mean with tier? is it a set of armor that u get every ''stage'' u pass and kill a boss? for example killing Andariel and going to the Deserts? Or is it just like in World of Warcraft?

I think that the word 'tier' is used here to describe look of the items itself. In D1 there were 3 "tiers". I think it was officially mentioned somewhere, that people will be after items, which stats are randomly generated. But I may be wrong.

yup. if all chars would have been well balanced in pvp we wont need to create own rules and restrictions like pcl or crappy ep

imo every modification of rules in pvp created by a community sucks hard

You overestimate skill of blizzard balancing, they will never get it right. And crappy pcl or ep atleast did it justice for many years. IT took also many years to develop rules and they got constantly changed. Another proof that Blizzard is not able to make some "balance" in just few months in their "internal tests".

u r probably right but i am still optimist and belive that 10 years of creating game causes at least "good" balance
