Was amazed by the Polish team - they had it but dropped it!
Russia was strong and solid, wonder how far they will come.

And have you been watching opening ceremony? Polish team sucked hard in second half, they didnt deserve nothing but defeat.
Today Netherlands and Germany should win. I also think that Germany will win whole tournament with Mario Gomez as topscorer.

regarding Polish team, they played really good in first half, and totally sucked in the second, it was only pure luck we didnt lose the game, which we should have won in first half. Coach Smuda didnt even try to make any changes, it was hilarious when he wanted to let substitute player in last 30 seconds...

Poland played sooo awesome, they showed heart and will from first second. Especially the BVB players made a great job  Just unlucky they didn't make more goals to play with more calmness in 2nd half.

Hmm I didn't like germany yesterday... Gomez made a goal, but I'm sure, if Klose plays instead, germany plays better and create more attempts...

Van Persie wasnt himself yesterday, he lacked the cold blood in penalty area, but whole team was playing to defensively, their central backs arent the best in the world, same for young Williams, Van der Vaart or Huntelaar should came on pitch earlier

Germany did what they had to - they won, it doesnt really matter in what way, they did it in first match against tough opponent

today, i think that spain will draw with italy (0-0) and croatia wil pwn ireland (3-0 or so)

And they did! Only saw the first halve but it was already entertaining to see. Didn't expect Italy to be okayish this year due to all the commotion around the fraudscandals but they did a very good job. 1-1

so group stage came to an end, any conclusions?

i think that Germany looks pretty strong, good tactics and finishing is all you need in such tournament, they are regared as top contenders atm; Spain played relatively okay, but match with Croatia wasnt their top performance, we will see if they can handle it in next matches; i still regard Italy as team that will win Euro 2012, they are not playing beautifully, but efficiently, they have strong defense (apart the Chiellini's mistake with Croatia) and are quite dangerous in counter attacks; Portugal is playing better in each game, Cristiano has finally shown what he can do on the pitch

my predictions for quarter finals winners: Portugal, Germany, Spain, Italy

What an disppointing semfinal of germany  Hilarious how the 1:0 happaned. I knew in that second, something bad will happen, when i saw 3 german players at the midline just stand, watch and keep distance to Pirlo.
Hope spain will win the trophy!

It seems to me Italy has the best cards for the final tonight. Spain lacks a proper goalgetter and strands in endless passes without making a goal. But still, they are to be feared!
